A coach on The Ultimate Fighter: Season 13, Brock Lesnar has been promoting the reality show at a prolific rate; earlier this week, he appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Opie and Anthony Show.
ESPN aired an interview between Lesnar and Jon Anik Friday on MMA Live. During the interview, Lesnar talked about his reasoning for deciding to coach on The Ultimate Fighter and his thoughts on losing his UFC heavyweight championship to Cain Velasquez.
On the show's first episode, Team Lesnar's Nordin Asrih lost to Shamar Bailey from Team Dos Santos. With the win, Dos Santos will now remain in control of the matchmaking for the next fight on the show, which airs Wednesdays on Spike TV.
Lesnar said he took the coaching position because it gave him the opportunity to fight Junior Dos Santos for another shot at the title. Lesnar and Dos Santos are scheduled to fight after the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter at UFC 131 in June.
