As has become the norm during fight week, UFC president Dana White is posting video blogs in the days leading up to the event. On Friday, he posted the second of his UFC 129 video blogs.
The video starts off innocently enough, with White and a UFC employee detailing just how large UFC 129 is compared to their other events. To put it in perspective, the floor of the Rogers Centre in Toronto will hold as many fans as the UFC normally packs into the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
From there it's off to the press conference, where White runs into the nattily attired Jose Aldo and Georges St-Pierre, as well as the not so well dressed Randy Couture—who compares his attire to that of a "mechanic."
The video ends with White sending his normal event Twitter ticket giveaway. White is then mobbed almost immediately by fans looking to get tickets to the sold-out event.
The sheer number of fans that begin crowding White is overwhelming, and he retreats to higher ground. White shows his appreciation to the security guards that got "f***ed up" during the rush.
After the crowd disperses and White is safely in his car, he reflects on the giveaway. "Holy s**t," White exclaims. "That's why I was nervous about doing it here."
When asked how that giveaway compares to California, White responds, "Not even f***ing close."
