The weight cut results are in, Shane Carwin looked slim and trim while Kenny Florian was trim, but a little scary looking. KenFlo, a lightweight since 2006, is attempting the radical move down to 145 pounds.
Tonight, we find out if he actually pulled off the cut successfully. It's one thing to make weight, but it's another to deliver on fight night.
Kevin Iole joined "The MMA Insiders" on ESPNRadio1100 in Las Vegas to talk about how Florian looked on the scales and if he'll avoid the upset at the hands of Diego Nunes (7:00 mark).
Iole told an interesting story about the fighters playing to the Vancouver crowd and its love of hockey. Florian wore a Boston Bruins jersey while Nunes sported a Canuck's sweater. Nunes won over the crowd, but made a crucial mistake when he removed the jersey. The CBC picked a bone with the Brazilian.
