Jose Aldo Forced to Pull Out of UFC 125 Due to Injury

MMA Junkie reports that Jose Aldo will NOT be defending the UFC Featherweight Belt against Josh Grispi on New Year's Day.

The bout was set to replace a previously scrapped bout between Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin after Carwin pulled out with a back injury.

Without question, UFC President Dana White will be looking feverishly to find two guys willing to battle in the co-headliner of the stacked New Year's Day card.

Though the headliner will see the UFC Lightweight Champion face the only man to defeat him as Frankie Edgar faces Gray Maynard, fans have speculated if the bout will be very exciting to watch, considering both fighters and their styles of fighting,

Naturally, the suggestion to make would be to "add Chris Leben," except The Crippler is already facing WEC Veteran Brian "All-American" Stann in a middleweight fight.

The question now stands: Which two fighters will be ready, willing and able to fill the shoes of the Aldo-Grispi encounter?

Few know who can, but Dana White better be convincing people of two guys and their worth...and fast.

UFC 124 is only about two weeks away, and then after December 11th passes by, he won't have much time to find two guys that will be able to put on the show that Aldo and Grispi would have.

Can Dana do it again?

Absolutely, but it's not going to be easy...

...unless Leben and Stann headline the card, but what are the odds of that happening?
